This is a leather bound, very old, German Bible. It was published in 1847. It measures 5 13/16" by 8 7/8". It is still firmly bound. It has 916 pages in the Old Testament and 308 in the New Testament. I put in additional pictures so that you can determine the true condition of this Bible. I believe it to be in good condition for the age of this Bible. I cannot find any inscription or underlining in this book. It does have yellowing of the pages and some tiny spots as is clearly shown in the pictures. I believe this would be a great collector's item. Insurance in the amount of the winning bid is recommended on this item. On the title page of this Bible it says, amoung other things, "Dr. Martin Luthers" The publishers were Frankfurt M Main Gebrudt bei heinridh Lubwig Brunner. I hope I got that right. The letters are somewhat different from what I am use to seeing. The entire text is in German.
