7 1/2" ROUND FINE MAJOLICA PLATE

                                          Presented for your consideration; a fine early and original, majolica glazed plate.

                                          This example has a slight "deep dish" shape. At 7 1/2" round, and just over 1/2" deep,

                                          it's truely the perfect collectable size. The plates condition is very good, with only a

                                          bit of wear to the glaze about the underside edge. It's much too minor to be seen, but

                                          would be at the 2:00 position, on the plate in the last picture. I would call it acceptable

                                          in light of this majolica plate's age, (19th century); and the fact that the yellow colored

                                          edge is not affected. The spot on the front rim in the first picture, is from glaze pooling

                                          about a stray bit of clay. See it at the 9:00 position? There are definately no chips, cracks,

                                          staining, or crazing; on this nice example. I did clean the glue remnants from the reverse.
