This is a very nice 13-1/2" high sterling and colored glass trumpet vase made by Mauser [c. 1887-1903]. This piece is monogrammed with CRS on the front and the silver holder on its own weighs 4.9 oz. The holder's design is comprised of scrolls, shamrocks, birds, and lion heads.
The teal green glass insert is free of any chips or cracks. There is a small break in the body of the silver holder (see last picture), which, due to the openwork design, is not readily noticeable. The bottom of the holder is marked STERLING-SILVER, 925/1000 FINE, 1100, and has Mauser's unicorn mark.
