Item Description:
This is a gorgeous antique English mahogany Chippendale sectional armoire. It has a traditional beveled cornice adorned with fancy fretwork and it features 2 spacious closets that have a total of 17 metal hooks, 2 metal hanging rods and 2 large doors with distinguished shaped beveled mirrors and brass handles. One of the handles is a bit crooked and a door stop is missing part of its hardware but they work well as they are. In addition there is a spacious cabinet that has breathtaking doors with flame mahogany richly embellished with gorgeous scroll and foliage carvings and fancy fretwork. Also there are 3 smooth operating drawers with dovetail joinery that have traditional facings with lovely brass handles. The cabinet and drawers have locks with 1 key present. It also has very classic bracket carved paw feet and extra supports on the center. This piece comes in 5 sections. This piece may show minor age appropriate signs of wear including wood imperfections and separations but as shown it is overall it is in very good cosmetic and structural condition and it is strong and sturdy. It comes in 5 sections. This beautiful furniture will be welcome in any room you choose to use it in since it blends in well with many decors.
