I have not been able to determine the age of this book, the others from this lot are from the late 1800's. This appears to be about the same era.
What a find!! This is a book called "John Halifax, Gentleman" (Vol 1) The blue is in excellent condition, with very slight fading along the spine. The corners are slightly rounded, and a teensey bit worn. The binding is VERY straight and tight. 351 pages with age toning on all pages. Gift inscription on first leaf in book.
