This plate is 8" across and weighs 3/4 of a pound. I found it at an estate sale so know nothing about it. Did not clean it as you can see in the photo. It is a very intricate design which even goes to the back side. It has holes with wire to hang it but I do not think it was supposed to be that way. There is a 3rd hole for what reason I do not know. The peahen is nestled down in the tail feathers of the peacock. The signature is oriental which I cannot decipher.
