Antique Oak Arts & Crafts Secretary Desk Stained Glass

Here we have a gorgeous Arts & Crafts dropfront secretary desk with hutch dating from the 1900's and is a European import.

This piece is in great condition.  Has stained glass leaded doors on the upper hutch section which are free of cracks.  There is one shelf.  On the upper right top which connects to the side, this piece has pulled away from the side.  I do not know if this is warped or if it can be hammered back into place.  This section has a working lock and key.  The dropfront section also has a working lock and key.  When opened you are able to see the cubby holes.  The writing surface is in great condition.  No old ink stains (which is common on these).  There  are two side pieces which pull out so that the dropfront section can rest on them for support.  One of the hinges is bent looking, although it works fine.  Has its original hardware.  The lower section has a small shelf. 

This type is hard to find, and when you do find them, they are usually in very bad condition with lots of splits and broken pieces. This piece is in excellent condition compared to others I have seen.

The shipping rate of $225.00 is for a CURBSIDE delivery. Shipping is provided to only the 48 lower contiguous states. Shipping insurance is included. The item will be well packed, boxed, then strapped to a pallet and transported by a trucking carrier. Palletizing helps prevent manhandling during transport. The trucking company will contact you to set up a delivery time and will deliver OUTSIDE your home. Inside delivery is available for an additional fee. Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery.

Local pick up is available.  Texas residents pay 8.25% tax.

RETURNS

You may return the item only if the description was incorrect. A return would have to arrive back to me in the same condition I shipped it. Buyer is responsible for all arrangements, shipping and insurance fees associated with a return. The shipping fees already paid for by the Buyer will not be reimbursed in the refund.
