antique vintage oak writing desk padded slanted top excellent 1800s solid original
  Good day and welcome to my store for  a fantastic old solid oak mercantile writing desk, or spool chest. Not sure how old this piece is but it does have a hole for an ink well. It is all original except for the updated velvet lining and padded writing surface, and maybe some of the hardware. I do believe it to be the original finish, but on a piece this old it is hard to tell. The approx. dimensions on this great old Victorian piece are 30" wide 19 /2" deep,  7 3/4" high at the back and 6 1/2" high at the front. This item ships to the lower 48 states only.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to as.
