Antique Old German Glass Ornament - PALMER COX BROWNIE

This auction is part of a larger group of antique/vintage Christmas decorations that I'll be selling in the next few days - just in time for holiday decorating.  Please check out the other lots.

Up for sale is a rare antique glass PALMER COX BROWNIE (with extended legs) ornament from Germany c1910.  This brownie has his hands in pockets and wears a long scarf around his neck.  The ornament retains its bright pink and pearly colors with black shoes.  It also has its original early brass hanger.  Condition:  there is some oxidation of the paint at the top of the head, chips at the top of the pike have been sealed and the hanger glued down, some minor lightning of the interior silvering in the top third of the ornament, and most significantly the right leg has been shattered and repaired using artist's tissue (see last photo for close-up of the damaged leg).  While damaged, this is your chance to buy a rare ornament that has been valued as much as $700-800 in ornament collector books (in good condition).  It measures 4 3/4 inches.
