Oliver 70 Antique Tractor
Restore It, Use it for Parts! Your Choice
I admit it, I don't know much about tractors, but my husband bet me, I couldn't get this tractor sold! Come On everyone, help me out, It would be a great tractor to Restore, and use for parts.
I found this information on the tractor when I was taking pictures.
Filing Order 153624
Serial Number--I think? D600A330
Number?? 233431
Look Close---Comes complete with Crank on the front and 3 matching bird nests sitting on top of the motor!
Don't ask me too many "tricky" questions, about it, but if you want to know something about it, if you tell me where to go look, I'll be happy to check it out.
We are located in Northwest Iowa (farm country) and will help you load it on whatever you bring to pick it up, we have payloaders, skidloaders and tractors, so you get here, we'll help you leave.
Thanks for looking, and have fun! And if you are restoring it, I'ld love to have a picture when you are done.
On May-22-08 at 18:10:18 PDT, seller added the following information:I've had several questions today and I'll try my best to answer them
What size are the rear tires: 13-36 is what is printed on them
Do the rear rims have holdes in them or heavy rust due to sittin? The right rim is good, with just a little rust, Valve stem hole is good, the Left rim is rusted all the way thru in about 1/4 of the total of the rim, definitely was the area that was buried in the dirt at one time
Do the rear rims have round spokes, or flat iron? They are a flat iron, attached to a smaller flat iron rim, inside the large tire rim, on the center of the spoke it had numbers # B C or G 705
How are the rims on the front? They are in good condition with just normal rust for an older tractor.
Is the motor stuck, or can you turn the crank? You can turn the crank, BUT that is because it wasn't hooked to anything inside the motor, I did try to turn the fan blades, but couldn't get them to move. So either I'm a "wimp" or motor is stuck!
Do the nests have birds in them? No, the birds must have know, the tractor is leaving, not even any eggs!
Hope this helps, and thanks for asking!
