Simply gorgeous, so rare and hard to find: Antique Hobbs Brockunier Aqua / Turquoise Blue Snowflake Pattern Finger Oil Lamp with applied finger loop. Has original brass collar (have not cleaned it) and burner is from P & A Manufacturing Co., Waterbury Conn. Lamp has a square font which measures approx. 4.5 inches per side, not counting the handle; and approx. 6.5 inches tall to the top of the burner. No chimney, however these are very easy to replace! Square font sits on a round clear glass fluted pedestal. The only flaw: a shallow chip to one of the scalloped edges, shown in photo #8. I have taken pictures both with and without a flash, the flash pictures display the snowflake pattern more clearly, but all pictures are fairly accurate to color; this is a beautiful deep turquoise blue. Just a treasure, probably dating to the mid to late 1800's!

BIDDERS / BUYERS PLEASE NOTE: Ebay no longer allows charging for shipping insurance. Included in your shipping charge is my handling charge, which includes packing materials, shipping insurance, and delivery confirmation. This may make your shipping charge seem high, but it is as minimal as I can afford to make it. My handling charge will vary from item to item depending on value and shipping risk. If you object to the amount of shipping & handling, please do not bid! Once I mail my items from the Post Office, if I believe you were overcharged, I will partially refund. Please contact me if you have any questions concerning this.
ABOUT FEEDBACK: As a result of frequently not receiving FB from my buyers, I have made it my policy not to leave feedback until feedback is received. If you have questions or concerns about your purchase, please contact me. I make it my policy to insure a buyer’s satisfaction in every circumstance.
PLEASE NOTE: I do and always have adhered to Ebay's Fair Shipping Practices. I carefully calculate the weight of my items and charge as close to actual shipping as possible. Padded shipping charges are a pet peeve of mine and I do not do that to my buyers. However, in my shipping charges, I do allow for generous packing materials and in some cases double-boxing, to assure safe transit. I will always combine shipping when more than one of my items is purchased by the same bidder. I offer economical First Class or Media Mail whenever possible. On the larger items, I find Priority Mail to be the fastest and most reliable method in the U.S.; however, sometimes Parcel Post can be less expensive and is always available upon request. International Bidders, please Email for shipping charges before bidding.
THANKS FOR STOPPING BY MY AUCTION!
