Tea Kettle Ink Well

This is a beautiful antique inkwell made of heavy opalescent glass and decorated with gold trim and floral border around the top. The bottom is glazed with sky blue, which has worn off in some spots. The shape is octagonal teakettle and it is in very good condition. Some of the surface decoration is worn but there are no chips or cracks on the outside of this sturdy piece. The opening has a few very small chips where the pen probably scratched into the glass. It stands 2 1/2" tall and measures 2 1/2" across the base. This is a truly unusual and beautiful piece. Shipping includes insurance.
