  Hello;  for your consideration is this fantastic,  cast iron grate with working metal damper. This Victorian era grate features a classic ornate geometric design, with what looks like a fresh coat of black paint. There are absolutely no cracks, or repairs, to this solid, handsome , ( approx 14"x12" outside dimension 12"x10" inside ) grate. There is however some pitting on the flange, mainly in the upper left hand corner in this picture, can be seen more clearly in the other pictures. Also you will see in the pictures below the damper ( which can be removed ) does open and close properly. At this time I have one more grate identical to this one (less pitting) with frames or collars in another listing. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. This item ships to the lower 48 States only, other locations are welcome to email for a priority, or priority international mail shipping quote, local pick is always welcome.
