Here is a FANTASTIC antique PICKLE CASTOR FRAME - sorry, there is no jar insert or lid .. a High Quality piece made by SIMPSON, HALL, MILLER & CO. of Wallingford, Connecticut .. intricate Japanese Inspired AESTHETICS MOVEMENT relief design featuring decorations of Leaves and Flowers .. 2 side hooks for tong and/or forks (not included) .. probably dates circa 1880s-1890s .. an ELEGANT Piece .. see 7 photos below also .. EXCELLENT condition with only expected tarnish from age - could use a good polishing - no breaks or restorations .. measures overall about 12 1/2" high with 3" diameter circular opening at bottom - 3 1/2" between protrusions near lower ends of side rods .. marked on inside surface of one foot with circular maker's mark reading 'Simpson, Hall, Miller & Co. + Quadruple Plate' and number '106' .. guaranteed Old and Original .. offered as shown with NO RESERVE!
