I am selling an antique papier mache' lap desk circ 1840-60.  The lid is papier mache' in a black floral design.  It has a lot of mother of pearl inlaid around the flowers and edge of desktop.  Closed, the desk measures 10" X13".  The top of the slant is 3 1/4" deep.  The writing surface is inlaid with red velvet outlined with gold leaf trim.  There are a few scratches on the outside, but it is in excellent used condition.  It has a key and lock which works.  Stationery can be stored inside.  There is also a covered pen carrier below the pen box.  I can find no writing nor information on the case.  I PREFER PAY PAL, BUT I WILL ACCEPT CASHIER CHECK, MONEY ORDER, OR PERSONAL CHECK.  WILL SHIP WHEN ABOVE CLEARS.
