Wow! This is a really neat piece to hang on your country kitchen wall! Could be used as a drying rack for herbs or just a coat rack. Has a decorative scalloped shelf on the bottom to hold wooden bowls or cookbooks or whatever you desire. I've used it to display bowls and part of my collection of old wire work. Original old gray paint. Retains a good many original hooks. Over the years someone has also driven in nails for hooks. I've photographed a closeup of one of the original hooks. Please review all pics and ask any questions. Some very old worm damage only adds to the charm and authenticity of this old hand crafted rack. Measures approximately 24" wide by 37&1/2" tall. A wonderful example of utilitarian vintage folk art!
