This is a lovely antique faience vase which was made in France by Quimper, probably in the very early 20th century. It is decorated to three sides with floral panels, and to the front with a woman in traditional dress, holding a basket, with the words "Mont St Michel" below. Unfortunately, as often happens with these items, there is some damage to report. There are some chips to the top and bottom  rims (the worst are shown, and the others are much smaller and don't detract much). There is also some crazing to the glaze. The vase is approx 9" (22.5cms) tall and measures 4" (10cms) across the top.
