Authentic pre-World War I porcelain tall vase made by R.S. Prussia. I bought this in spite of the damage to handle, because it has an unusual surface finish. The surface has a texture totally covered with little raised dots, very similar to Royal Bayreuth tapestry. In fact the yellow and pink lush roses transfer remind me of rose tapestry. The little raised dots cover the entire surface. Transfer decoration covers the entire piece. This vase is tall and slender, 9 and 1/2 inches tall. There are two complex handles. One is perfect, one is damaged. See photo for loss of the outer loop. Can be repaired by a professional. This piece is worth saving: there are no other chips, no cracks, no repairs. Decoration and gold is great. Vase wobbles a little bit, as is typical of some turn of the century porcelain.. Sorry the family never saved the handle piece. Low starting price so someone can repair this gorgeous piece. Vase is authentic, and so is mark on bottom.
