Estate Sale Antique Rolls Safety Razor in strop guard silver plated case. The case needs to be polished and some cleaning. You can see and smell the oil. This case sits inside another case which shows a ton of ageing. It has a nice little push in button to open and close and it still works. One of the old latches on the back has come loose and will need to be repaired if so desired. The case measures 6 x 3. I do not understand how this item works. On the inside are several parts. The stone is broken in half it reads This end under lid springs. Made in England. This side downwards. The stone measures 5 inches long. The blade attachment is marked on one side it reads Rolls Razor Pat. Nos. 224-578, 242-718. Then it reads Best Sheffield Steel. Then there is more, it reads Rolls Razor 35 is what I think it say then Made In England. It measures 1 1/2 x 1. Then there is this instrument it reads Rolls Razor it has the claw like on the end Made In England. It measures a little over 2 inches long. This item is dusty, smelly and very old looking. What I keep smelling is the oil on the inside. On the back of the case it is marked. Rolls Razor 1927 LTD. Patented In England And Abroad English Patents 108531, 184514, 184515, 184751, 224578, 242717, And Pending. Made In England. The top lid does not fit completely down which I know it does.
