This is a beautiful Antique 19th Century Rockingham or Bennington Pottery Bowl  measuring 12.5" across and 2.5" high  This bowl has an expecially attractive Rockingham glaze and is in very good condition with only to note one hairline crack about 4.5" that looks to be stable and really doesn't show.  The glaze is on yelloware. 

This early bowl has very nice, pleasing form and is a lovely accessory for a country home or collection.  

The first photo was taken on an overcast day and the other photos today when it's bright and sunny - that's why the colors look different - they are gorgeous in person!

Probably American, 19th century.
