From a very old estate~Gorgeous Antique Rosary with Case. On the front of the case is the "Miraculous Medal" which shows the date 1830. This is the year it is told, that "Our Blessed Mother Mary appeared to Sister Catherine Labourne in Paris, asking to have a medal struck in honor of the Immaculate Conception. The promise was that all who wear it will receive great graces. The many miracles that resulted almost immediately gave it the Miraculous Medal name." The Rosary measures 17.5" in total length and is marked "France" on the back of the Crucifix. The Metal Case measures 2.5" in diameter (not sure what the center material of the case is)~a Wonderful Treasure that is more than 100 years old!
