This is a a very fine quality early 20th C. Russian lacquer box.  The painting is of a troika scene.  Beautifully handpainted it would make a very fine addition to any Russian lacquer box collection.  It measures 4 5/8 x 2 1/8 x 4 3/4 inches.  The overall condition is very fine with no loss to the top and some wear commensurate with age. Hinge in excellent condition. Small area of lacquer loss on base not visable when displayed but mentioned for accuracy.  Some loss to red lacquer interior.
