Antique STERLING SILVER 3 Brushes WEBSTER Glass BOTTLE

We are pleased to offer this collection of Sterling Silver Brushes, along with an interesting Cut Glass Bottle featuring a Sterling Silver lid. The collection includes the following:

Webster Company Brush. Measuring 4-7/8 inches by 3-3/8 inches, this Brush is monogrammed D and features ornate Floral decorations. It is marked STERLING followed by the Webster Company mark (WC with arrow). The Brush has some bumps along with a Silver patina on the non-raised surfaces. We rate it as being in good to very good condition (see pictures above).

Large Brush with Handle. This piece measures 10 inches long by 3-1/2 inches wide at its widest point. It too has ornate Floral decorations, but with the addition of a Bird and several stylized ornate Faces. It has a British Sterling Silver hallmark identifying the origin as Birmingham with a 1916 date code. There is a manufacturer's mark as well (just to the left of the hallmark), but we can't quite make it out - possibly a Broadway & Company mark.

The Brush has a dent on the top surface in the center, along with typical surface wear and Silver patina. We rate its condition as good.

Small Rectangular Brush. This smaller Brush measures 4-1/4 inches by 1-1/2 inches. Marked STERLING towards the center, there is also a British hallmark on the edge (not shown in pictures) identifying the origin as Chester. We believe it dates to 1889. There is a manufacturer marking as well which is partially worn away - it looks like J.C.F. & Co. Its condition is good to very good with some holes in the top surface where the thin metal has worn away.

Cut Glass Bottle. A small bottle measuring about 3-1/2 inches high, 1-1/2 inches wide, and 1 inch deep, it has a Silver lid with a ring of decoration on the top surface. We did not find any manufacturer markings on the lid. The Glass has some tiny flea bites and the lid has a bump running most of the way across the top surface. Its overall condition is good to very good. The Bottle has multiple surfaces with interesting cut facets towards the top just below the lid, and would be ideal for perfume or similar liquids.

This is a nice collection of antique Sterling Silver pieces. They would make wonderful Holiday Gifts for any antique enthusiast, or be fantastic additions to any collection!
