Antique Seth Thomas Sonora Westminister Chime Clock

     You are bidding on an Antique (c. 1911) Seth Thomas Sonora Eight Day Westminister Chime Clock. Chimes each quarter on four great sounding bells. And, the hour on one bell.  Mahogany Adamantine case is in pretty nice condition with the usual tiny nicks & slight lifting at the very back edge corners. Also, there are some spots that are hard to photograph. Looks like a solvent of some kind dripped lightly on the sides. But, not on the top, or front. (See photos). 13”H X 15”W X 7”D.  Brass feet. Gold gilt columns. Pendulum looks very new. The date April 23, 1911 is stamped on the back of dial.

     Please check photos. Exceptionally clean looking running time & strike movement, stamped with the ST trademark. The chime movement stamped 90 is working correctly, but would probably benefit from a cleaning. While it appears to have been recently oiled, it may not been run in a long time, and I can have no way of knowing when it was serviced last, so there can be no guarantee for continued satisfactory running. The silvered dial has scratches which you can see in the photo. Lighting effect may cause reflections on the glass.

     Please check the photos, which quite frankly do not show off the depth of the finish, as they are part of the description.  Please check my feedback. If you have any doubts about this clock, please do not bid. I would rather sell it for less, than have an unhappy buyer.
