This awesome and unique antique "treasure box" is approx. 80 years old, if not older and was purchased at an estate sale. It measures 30"H x 18"W and is chock FULL of vintage and/or antique sewing goodies. As you can see from the photos, it has scissors, lots of thread and darning cotton (same thing?), two jars full of hooks that have a patent date of 1893, and buttons. It also has a pin cushion that has a VERY large needle in it, elastic, red trim, lots of antique needle books. The lining inside is fabric and has yellowed from age but it makes it look great! The outside front looks as though it has small cushions on it but they are actually plastic. If you would like me to send you more pictures or have any questions please let me know.
