A reserve price is the minimum price the seller will accept. This price is hidden from bidders. To win, a bidder must have the highest bid and have met or exceeded the reserve price.
This interesting old Maine box is decorated all-around with a cut-out SHAMROCK frieze. The box is lined with red silk. It has a lift-top lid. The box is inscribed on the bottom," B.E. Lumery(?) Eastport, Maine 1901". It appears to be stained pine.
The shamrocks have a later coat of paint. One shamrock has a broken top,(see photo). Overall condition is good with appropriate wear and scratches from use.
Size---4 1/4" x 9 1/4" x 12 3/4"
3 3/4" inside depth.
