Antique Hand Knotted Shirvan Caucasian Rug

Made in Azerbaijan, Early 20th Century

This is a gorgeous geometric wool-pile rug on a cotton foundation, with some vegetable dyes.

The rug exhibits some abrash color variations.

Expertly restored ends and fringes, some fraying selvages and it has full even pile. There are no hole repairs.

In good condition commensurate with its age. A durable tight weave which will give years of use under heavy traffic.

Size: 4’3” x 6’3”
