Up for bids is a  very beautiful fan with hand painted cherubs.  The fan would be suitable for framing.  I was thinking about cutting it apart and framing the beautiful work of art, but that may be a shame to break apart this treasure.  I think it could be mounted in a fan box and enjoyed that way.  There is water staining also along the top edge...see pic. It nevertheless is very beautiful.  One of the spines is broken, but it is still attached to the material and can be placed back on the base...it was just off for the picture.
