DETAILS OF ITEM

This piece measures 12 inches wide by 29 inches long of vintage silk material. Against a persimmon background, bold stylized swirling chrysanthemums are woven throughout the material with black thread. The weave is slightly raised and mixed with gold threads so that they glint occasionally.

My measurements of fabric are very conservative and I try my best to measure only the undamaged area of the fabric excluding the area along the original seam lines where some damage to the fabric occurred. The age of this piece is from the 1930's and the condition is still good.
