Antique Silver Spoons Set of 6 Boxed Chester 1898

This is a very good Antique Solid Silver Cased Set of 6 Spoons.  They are completely plain apart from the Old English pattern to the back.  They have clear hallmarks and come in their original blue lined box

Makers Marks:  J.M.B (John Millwood Banks)                  

Dimensions:       They are 4.25 inches long in total, the bowls 1.25 inches long and just over 0.75 inch wide at their widest.  They weigh a total of 67g    

Condition:       They are all in very good condition and so too is the box inside and out           

Remarks:       This is a very good antique cased set of 6 solid silver 11 year old spoons.  As they come complete in their original box if you did not want to keep them for yourself, they would make a lovely Engagement, Wedding or Silver Wedding present. They will also be of particular interest to collectors of Chester silver   

Antique and vintage silver by its very nature has been previously used.  Silver is a comparatively soft metal and a combination of many years use invariably leaves its mark.  I do endeavour to describe all items accurately but do not expect any antique to be in "as new condition".
