DESCRIPTION:

This beautiful frame is constructed from wood and composition ornament. It is then gilded with metal silver leaf and finished with a light gold wash to create the antique look. There are random brush and and leafing marks which add to the antique look of the frame. The frame is approximately 1 3/4" high along its back edge. It scoops down in the center adding depth to the item being framed.

This frame can be used for an oil painting (shallow stretchers - see rabbet depth), photograph (glass not included), needlework, mirror (available at an additional cost) or just about anything!
