You are bidding on a Singer 201-2 sewing machine with cabinet & Bench. The machine and cabinet are in good condition but the wood does have some water stains ,wear,scratches. There is a retractable arm that supports the cabinet when the machine is open that doesn't retract automatically but will open when the cabinet lid is open to support the lid. The cord of the foot pedal as well as the power cord are in good condition. The cabinet shows some wear and tear, however it IS going on 60 years old!! The cabinet also features 3 drawers The cabinet measures 31" in height, 16.5" wide, & 28.5" long when folded and weighs about 110 pounds. The bench measures 19" in height, 14 x 16" on the top and the top removes for storage of your sewing items.I am sorry the pictures are not clearer but the machine is in a mobile home that has extremely poor lighting.
These models have been tested by time to be very powerful and reliable and the straight stitch works just fine! Some even say it is the best machine singer ever made! The 201 is all metal, and features a full rotary hook driven by all-metal spiral gears and connecting rods. No fabric link belt, and no rubber timing belt to stretch, break, or slip. The rotary hook makes for a faster, smoother, quieter, and all around more efficient sewing machine. The internal gear-drive motor drive makes sewing thick layers almost effortless. The 201 will accept up to a size 21, whereas many new machines can only accept up to a size 16. The machine works, however it may need to be serviced as I am not sure when the last time it was used was. This auctions consists of:

For glass and fragile items we use lots of packing materials to make sure your items arrive safely but we do recommend that the buyer get insurance.
