ATTRIBUTES: Gorgeous quality solid oak tall back dining chairs. These beauties are simple and elegant, with just the right amount of carved detail ~ a fetching little shell ~ at the top of the back. This detail continues on the central splat below, just an echo ~ perfectly lovely. Upholstery in great shape, but simple to recover. Just pop out the seats and grab a stapler. Sturdy, well constructed, very comfortable.

POTENTIAL USES: Use these as they are in kitchen or dining room, or scatter them about the house as accents, desk chairs, vanity chairs. Because they're the classic mid-range English oak, they'll mix well with other chairs of the same era, giving your dining table a charming and eclectic look.

ORIGIN: England c. 1930s

CONDITION: Fine condition, ready for use. No areas of concern noted.

SIZE: 39 tall overall, 18 wide, 15.5 deep (seat), 19 tall to seat

SHIPPING: $89 (for all four, not per chair) to your nearest GPX/Greyhound terminal for pickup, just as we used to pick up packages at the old catalog stores. Insurance and tracking are included in this price.

CAN'T PICK UP? For the 90% of folks who live within the GPX delivery range, we can add home delivery for an additional $35 to $50, depending on distance from the terminal. For all others, we can do home delivery, we'll just need to use other options.

ABOUT SHIPPING: (1) Large items can take up to six weeks to ship (rarely more), though usually much, much less;

(2) We are not shipping cell phones or CDs; it takes time to pack large, heavy items properly for transit.
