SHIPPING: $129.50 to your nearest GPX/Greyhound terminal for pickup, just as we used to pick up packages at the old catalog stores. We can add home delivery to most GPX shipments for an additional $30-45, depending upon your location.

We very much wish we could accomplish this in 2-3 days, but we figure about 3-5 weeks for these large pieces to arrive, counting from date of payment. We strive to keep our shipping rates as low as possible, and to do so, we've been absorbing increases in rates for the last several years. We'll chip in on the shipping and packaging costs if you'll allow us to prepare and ship your treasure with the economical system we have in place. And we do appreciate your patience. checks, money orders and credi cards by way of Paypal. Depending upon feedback, we may hold
checks for a bit for clearance. Returns accepted if notified within 24 hours of
delivery; please write ASAP for complete instructions on
returns. Upon receipt of the item in same condition sent, we
will cheerfully refund your purchase price minus a 10%
restocking fee to cover our expenses. In the alternative, you
may take a 100% merchandise credit on another purchase.

Oh sigh
~ aren't shipping costs just too
distressing? But . . . we figure if you consider
the costs of the on-the-ground treasure hunt:
gas (Heaven help us, it is now over $2.95 per
gallon!), time spent roaming one store after
another in search of the beloved object, taxes,
and the like, that the costs are about the same,
or more, as shopping on eBay. And we get to do
that with a cup of creamy coffee in one hand,
with the monks chanting away on the stereo, with
the scented candle burning on the desk, with
rose terry slippers on our feet. We are most
enchanted with our little cottage and hate to
leave it. Shopping at home is a thrill which
does not wane.

payment of sales tax.

FURNITURE! It takes some time to prepare and package it
safely for shipping. We estimate 3-6 weeks on larger items
(often much quicker), though we do try to ship FedEx within
7-10 days.
We sometimes experience delays in
shipping due to circumstances beyond our control: rain,
backed up GPX and/or freight terminals, family concerns (we
are both caring for aging parents in poor health).
If you need an item for a
special occasion, let us know with both an email and a phone
call. We'll do our best to accommodate your needs.

item may take 3-6 weeks to arrive and a bit longer if we run
into snags. We appreciate your patience.
All the rest: Shipping of large
items requires special packaging and additional
time. Delivery ranges from two week to six weeks

shipping on items shipping via GPX. Our shipping
prices are flat rate, absolutely rock bottom and
there is no room for adjustment. We can, at times,
combine items in a single box shipping via FedEx.
You must examine your package at once upon arrival;
it's best to do this at the GPX terminal.
Notification of damage MUST occur within 24 hours of
receipt. We cannot assist with damage claims where
the package has been unopened for days or
