You are bidding on an antique Staffordshire dog.  C1860.  Measures 4" in height.  The dog is in good condition.  There is a glaze chip on the base and under his collar and on the collar.  Two cracks on the front legs and one between his legs.  They are very stable.  No other chips, cracks, or restorations.  Disraeli Staffordshire dogs are rare. The Disraeli dogs were named after Queen Victoria's prime minister, Benjamin Disraeli.  Characteristic curls are on the forehead and repeated on the back of the head.  Handsome dog.

 

 

The dog is guaranteed to be antique.  It is not a reproduction.
