Elaborate Antique Sterling Silver Reticulated Tray was Manufactured in 1890 by Frank M Whiting & Co. in North Atteboro, Mass.  It has a c-scroll rim with heavy elongated open loops attached with a garland of flowers, under this a continuation of the loops with solid sides down to a cross banded border.  In the center is a monogram J P L with the L in the center.  It measures 7 3/4" x 5" x 1" and weighs 2.5 troy oz.  Condition is good with age appropriate dings and bumps.  It is marked sterling 8868 and the mark for Frank M. Whiting & Co.
