This is a lovely antique sterling silver spoon. The hallmarks are hard to read except for the “Sterling” mark; the others seem to possibly be “RM” and three other hallmarks (see photo). The spoon weighs 8.1g.

 

It has a beautiful raised swirl pattern running around the edges of the handle on both sides (front and back). In the bowl is an engraved poppy plant with “Los Angeles” above it and “Poppy” below it.

 

There’s lots of detail work and the spoon is in excellent condition (I haven’t removed all the tarnish). It measures 3-3/4 inches in length.
