As you can see, this linen press offers plenty of storage space. The upper cabinet contains two adjustable shelves. Even the sides look great!
The mahogany and satinwood look great together. Both shelves adjust by means of the alligator brackets shown here. These solid brass pulls contrast beautifully with the mahogany.
Each drawer features hand-cut dovetailed joints. These splayed feet are as sturdy as they are elegant.
     This beautiful linen press was recently made in England using the same methods used by the master craftsmen of the Georgian and Victorian periods. The stunning mahogany and satinwood banding produce a lovely contrast of rich grain and color. As you can see from the pictures, the piece has a very elegant and timeless look which should look great in any well-decorated home. Aside from being beautiful, this linen press is very functional and versatile. The two main doors feature a working lock and key, and inside is an alligator bracket shelving system. Also, the doors utilize an unusual and convenient type of hinge which will allow them to swing all the way around and sit flat against the sides of the piece so you can enjoy it completely open when you need it without having to worry about big bulky doors swinging around and taking up space.
     The lower section of this press contains four drawers, each boasting dovetailed joints (a sign of high-quality craftsmanship), brass pulls which further add to the elegant appearance, and working locks and keys. As stated before, the upper doors have a working lock and contain adjustable/removable shelves, making this piece the ideal entertainment center to hold a new television and all the accessories, particularly for a new flat panel plasma or LCD television, again increasing the versatility of the piece.
