Original antique Art Nouveau Majolica high-relief (or embossed) tile. Manufactured in 1920 to 1930s in Japan by SAJI Tileworks. This type of tiles were usually extensively, especially by the Peranakan (Baba or Straits Chinese), in Singapore in Malaysia in the early 1900s to decorate the interior and exterior walls of houses. They were also used by the Peranakans to decorate their furnitures.

Measurement: 6 inches square or 15cm by 15cm.

Condition: Very Good, with small chips along the top and right edges, nicks/flea bites, crazing and minor surface wears.

Methods of payment: PAYPAL only.

For Singapore buyer only, Paypal payment is preferred although personal cheque is acceptable. Tiles will only be sent after cheque has been received and cleared by bank.

Shipping charges:  US$14.00 via regular air mail to the US & worldwide. Takes 9 - 12  days for shipping. Combine shipping at US$7.00 for each additional tile. I only charge the actual shipping costs I have to pay myself (excluding packing and handling costs).

For Singapore buyer, postage via Singpost for 1 tile is US$2.50 (S$3.50). For each additional tile is US$1.00 (S$1.50). Local pickup only for successful bid of 3 tiles and above. Sorry, no viewing of tile. The photo should be able to clearly illustrate the design and condition of the tile.
