Antique Tunbridge Ware Glove Darner

English * Circa 1870

This beautiful & scarce wooden darner was made in Tunbridge Wells in the county of Kent, England in the mid Victorian era. The intricate mosaic patterns on the shaft are made of tiny bits of different colored woods. The wood is in excellent condition all around with no chips, cracks or missing marquetry. It measures 5 1/2"long.
