For your consideration an antique Union Pacific railroad flag. Fresh from a local estate. The flag is in good condition. One end is tattered pretty good. I would imagine this is from being flown for thousands of miles behind a Union Pacific train. The rest of the flag is in good condition with no stains, tears or holes. The flag has a large Union Pacific patch sewn in the center of it. One end of the flag is reinforced with two metal brass eyelets to attach it to the train. I am not exactly sure what material the flag is made of but it is very light and silky feeling. The flag measures about 52" in length by 34" in height. I am assuming that these flags were flown at the end of the train off of the last car or caboose. I am sure all you collectors out there will know. An excellent addition to any railroadiana or advertising collection or if you just want to own a neat old Union Pacific flag. I am selling this item with no reserve.
