Antique VICTORIAN GIRL GLASS & SCRAP CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT

My next two auctions will be for a pair of the same ornament only different.  THIS AUCTION IS FOR A SPECTATULAR GOLD GLASS AND SCRAP VICTORIAN GIRL. SHE LOOKS SILVER IN THE PICTURE BUT SHE IS GOLD. She is a glass ornament with a scrap top section of her body and scrap feet.  I got her at an estate sale for a lady well into her 90tys.  She measures 6 1/2  inches tall so she is a large ornament.  She is German glass and her scrap is definitely antique.  I found one almost identical to her in "Christmas Ornaments, Lights and Decorations" by George Johnson on page 218 and it give the price as $150.00 to $175.00. The ornament measures 6 inches tall . This is a wonderful ornament and I have never seen one like this before even though I have been collecting 40 years. Great condition but her feet have been bent, not torn but bent back-if I kept her I may or may not give them more support.  If you do an Antique Victorian tree you can't live without this one and her sister.  There really isn't too much more I can say that the pictures do not say better except she is not have as much sparkle as she does in the picture and the blobs on the back of her head are reflections not flaws.  There is no doubt that there is ground glass blown (I think) in the glass because it is not rough like glitter but the flash makes it much more pronounced than the actual piece.  It is more subdued.    The buyer pays $7.00 Shipping and insurance.    We accept Visa and Mastercard through our store with U.S. Bank not Pay Pal or email for other options.
