This auction is for an original early 1900's old metal crib!  Both headboard and footboard along with both side rails are in "as found" condition.  The metal panels have their original light pink paint and on top of both pieces, a very ornate cast iron detailing featuring a precious cherub!  There are two oval painted designs in the middle of each panel, the first featuring a guardian angel, rose crown in her hair, looking after two small children who are getting ready to go to bed.  The second panel features a slightly different picture of the guardian angel with the children, but this piece is a bit more faded and not as clear.  There are antiqued gold scroll accents in each corner and around both pictures.  This crib is over 100 years old, and it does show its age.  There is plenty of wear along the edges, rust, scratching and fading.  However, this is such a rare and special find and would certainly make a statement in your home whether you choose to hang the panels or put together for a girl's room to hold a collection of baby dolls!   I will not be able to quote shipping prices on this piece, but can tell you that I will work with the buyer to secure the most economical shipping rate.  Recently, shabbytownusa sold one single panel for $647.00 and if you check Gloria's website, shabbtownusa.com, you can see how she has decorated the walls in her home with these panels.  I do have additional photos as I took many, so if you need to see more, please email me.
