Antique Victorian Style End Table/Stand

Estate sale find, this is a nice old table/stand that I think would be called Victorian style.  Rectangular top with beveled edges, and turned legs that end on an arched foot at each end.  There is a shelf in the middle and a turned stretcher across the bottom.  I think the wood is mahogany, but I am not sure.  In good antique condition, with wear to the finish from years of use.  There are small dings in the the top, one 1/2" long gouge, it could be waxed and cleaned and used as is, or refinished. Paint it white for a shabby victorian look.  The shelf is resting on some small nails and you may want to attach it more permanently. 

Measures 25.5" long by 16.5" on top, 24" tall.
