Large Antique Victorian Porcelain Bisque Courting Couple Flower Bowl~Dish
| Description This gorgeous piece is made my ARDCO and retains it's original tag indicating it was "Made in Japan". It stands an impressive 8 1/2" tall, is 8" wide, and approximately 6" deep. The bisque porcelain is finely painted with detailing all the way to the tiny apples in the basket the gentleman is carrying. Both figures are "arms away" and have no damage or repairs, nor does any other part of the piece. The top "bowl" can easily be removed for arranging of fresh flowers and such, then repositioned. Someone along the way wanted a little more stability than the cork liner provided and attached the florist gum to the bottom. It easily peels off, however, I have kept it on to prevent it from slipping when a customer was handling it. This is a gorgeous vintage piece that displays beautifully when filled with flowers or candy, or simply by itself.
~ All of my listings are shown as "Private" not allowing the bidders to be disclosed during or after the auction. Ebay has finally taken steps to protect buyers during the bidding process, however, I go one step further and choose to protect their privacy after the auction has ended as well. Please know by going "private" I am only protecting my buyer. Also, "Just so you know"......I also have a retail location at 406 West Main Street in Arlington, Texas. Because of this retail location all items that are up for auction through Ebay are also for sale in another venue. They remain on the sales floor until a bid has been placed through Ebay at which time they are removed and considered sold. However, if there are NO bids and the item sells, the auction is ended immediately and the item is considered sold. I realize everyone likes to wait until the very last minute to bid on Ebay to garner the very lowest prices, but if it is something you really, really want, I encourage you to place a holding bid before the item sells through my retail venue.
.
I include a large number of photographs in each auction and have a difficult time emailing more photos to individuals, however, will answer all questions with as much detail as you require to assist in your evaluation of the item.
~ ~ Please Visit my About Me page for a direct link to my website where you will find a wonderful shopping experience as well as my personal blog regarding the events surrounding my store.
~ Feedback will be posted after you signal the successful conclusion of the transaction by posting positive feedback for me. I reserve the right to cancel any bids from bidders with excessive negative feedback, a no-pay history, or new Ebayers with under ten feedback. Most auctions have a lower than actual value of the item starting price, however, on occasion a higher starting price will be shown in order to protect my investment. It is, however, still lower than the actual value of the item. I do not like reserve auctions and feel it is only fair to start with the lowest price you are willing to take, rather than make it a guessing game for the bidder. The items I sell are vintage and antique and it should be expected that they are not perfect. I try to be as accurate as possible in my descriptions, however, am by no means an expert in all areas. Therefore, I include numerous photos with all listings and encourage you to ask any questions you might have before placing your bid.

~Due to the nature of the business, all sales are considered final unless a serious error has inadvertently been made in the item description. In that case, please contact me with 24 hours of receipt so I can address the situation and determine if a return can be authorized. Seller is not responsible for return shipping charges on any item authorized for return.
See my other listings for more great items!
Payment ~ Payment is expected within 5 days. If you have not communicated with me within that time period either by paying or through email, I will take the steps provided to me through Ebay to report the situation. Texas residents pay 8% state sales tax.
Shipping ~ A shipping calculator is provided in all auctions so you can determine the exact cost prior to bidding. I charge a standard $2.00 handling fee on all auctions to cover packing materials and the shipping charges you see INCLUDE that amount and are not additional at auction's end. This fee is assessed on items shipped AND any items picked up locally. I do not profit from shipping charges and will always ship your preferred method. Delivery confirmation is provided on all auctions for loss or theft. I will gladly combine shipping charges on all auctions ending the same weekend when possible, however, based on package weight and content, this is not always an option~
~All International packages will be mailed using the US Post Office Priority International or Express International so tracking can be provided. Please use the calculator to determine the cost to your particular country. I cannot be responsible for any fees or charges incurred in customs or foreign countries such as import duty or taxes, as these are the buyer's responsibility. I will not mark merchandise below value or as a gift as that is against the law.
~In the event shipping charges seem higher than expected for this item, please know that Ebay has determined insurance to be the seller's responsibility, therefore, the cost of this service is built into the shipping charges . I pack for survival, however, that is not always good enough with the way packages are handled in transit. Ebay and Paypal hold the seller responsible for getting your item to you safely REGARDLESS of who was at fault..therefore, shipping charges have increased to cover your item with insurance that was once the buyer's option, and to protect my interest.
