These are very old, mid Victorian Creamer and Suagr set. They are decorated with handpainted pansies and embellished with gold paint. The lid is missing from the sugar bowl and the bowl has a very old, stable hairline crack on the rim where the lid would sit. The creamer has two chips on the lip area, one is pictured in the photo, the other is similar in size and position on the other side and there is a trace of a crack about 1/3" long by one chip. The crack is very old. These are delicate old pieces for a collector, they are not perfect but the colors are intense and from the marks underneath, I believe that these come from Europe. The creamer stands just over 4" tall. These would be great for holding flowers on a mantel and would be great for shabby chic decorating. Please email questions.
