Antique Victorian Deco French Beaded Handbag Purse Bag

Up for auction is one of the most beautiful Antique Victorian Deco French Beaded Handbags I've ever come across in my vintage finds. The bag is extremely heavy. The label inside says, "Import Frech Steel". The beads almost feel like they are made of steel, but I'm not quite sure. The beads are silver, gold and a brownish copper color. The frame is filigree steel. Tassels/Fringe hanging at the bottom of the bag. Silk lining. Comes with little mirror inside the bag.

Measures: 5 1/4" x 8 1/2" (including tassels)

This bag is in remarkable condition. All beads are still tightly attached to the bag, except for one area near the frame (shown in the photo).  The inside lining is also fragile and ripped. A few of the beads have slight discoloration. No other issues to note. Domestic buyers must purchase insurance. International buyers need to contact me for a quote (I will only ship this bag via EMS for international shipments due to the fact that I must be able to track the bag and it will also require insurance).

I do not typically grant returns on items, and especially on items that do not fit. I use a modern American sizing chart and provide all accurate measurements.  If you state that your item does not fit, I will need a digital photo of how you are measuring the garment to ensure accuracy on both parts.  My dress form is a modern size 10 (the bust on my form measures 37", waist measures 30" and hips measured 40") and I can always provide photo's of my tape measure wrapped around and pinned on the bust, waist and hips if needed to prove that my measurements are accurate.  If the items are smaller, I typically pin them on my form and measure the  garment flat.  If you have a question about fit, buy a fabric measuring tape or message me directly with questions.  

I carefully inspect my items and report any damage, but I may accidentally miss something occasionally. Most of my items are vintage, so minor wear may occur, please be aware when purchasing. I only give returns on items that are grossly misrepresented minus shipping and listing fees. Gross misrepresentation has nothing to do with fit or minor imperfections.
