Here you can see an example of the fine paneling that composes this mirror. Here you can see the beveled edge of the mirror. Note the fluted edging and moulding around the mirror.
The back, like the rest of the piece, is quite sturdy. There is some wear to the back of the mirror, but this is only a cosmetic occurence. This sturdy rope has been installed for hanging.
     This beautiful antique mahogany mirror was hand-crafted in Victorian England around 1890. Over the years, the flame mahogany has developed a lovely patina that deepens the wood's distinct grain and lustrous complexion to produce an incredibly rich appearance that is sure to make a bold impression in any setting. Fluted sides, accentual paneling and an elegantly beveled mirror complement the wood beautifully. Having been constructed using the finest techniques and materials, this mirror remains in excellent condition, with a strong structure and only minimal spotting on the mirror. Spotting occurs on all mirrors as the metal beneath the surface ages. On the back of the mirror a sturdy rope has been installed for hanging.
