This lovely carved server was originally crafted in England during the Victorian period, around 1890. It was recently purchased at an estate auction and directly imported to our store here in Atlanta, GA. The wood is solid oak, and has developed a nice patina over the years. The grain and color of the wood are really exceptional, as can be seen in the pictures. The top section has two drawers, each boasting large, solid brass pulls as well as hand-cut dovetailed drawer joints. The lower section of this beautiful server has two cabinet doors which open to reveal a large storage space. Though the cabinet doors have a lock, there is no key. Overall, the condition of this server is very good. It does have a large age split running through the side and top of the base which is caused by common wood shrinkage and in no way is structrual, if anything it only adds to its character. This piece would make an excellent addition to any home, so don't miss your opportunity to bid on it today!
