For your consideration an antique Waterbury double dial calendar clock. Fresh from a local estate. The clock is in excellent condition. It is made solid walnut and ornately carved in a Victorian style. It is beautifully finished. Both the wood and finish are in excellent condition. The upper dial is marked WCo The lower dial is marked WATERBURY CLOCK CO. U.S.A. PATENTED JULY 30th. 1889 Both dials are in good condition with some very minor paint loss. The upper dial has two winding holes. Both springs are good and are not broken. The clock comes with a key to wind it and has its pendulum. It runs fine and keeps good time. The calendar portion of the clock also works correctly. The clock strikes on the hour times the hour and once on the half hour. The front door has a hook to secure it shut. Both glasses in the door are good. I am not exactly sure what model waterbury clock this is as part of the original label with the model number is missing on the back. The original Waterbury label giving directions or use of this clock is also on the back. There is also an original label from this clock was sold new. It was sold by Henry Birkenbusch in Pekin Illinois on 10/10/1900 and was guaranteed for 1 year. The clock measures 24" in height by 14 1/4" in width by 6" in depth. This is one of the nicest double dial calendar clocks I have seen in quite some time and it is very beautiful and in great condition. An excellent addition to any vintage clock collection or if you just want to own a beautiful old calendar clock. I am selling this item with no reserve.
